the vet wanted $700 to remove this growth on missy's eye and also said that he doesn't recommend putting a dog this old under anaesthesia. the weight of the extra tissue pulls her eyelid down and gives her constant dry eye and infection, so yesterday ma, being of the rough-and-tumble sort, cut it off with scissors. missy was very brave and didn't even cry and i yowled the entire time. missy is doing very well.
