She might be right - some people were wearing whole foxes - with heads and paws as a collar and these big heavy hats that required, I am sure not one, but several animals - looking back it seems unreal - the hats were indeed heavy, I am not even mentioning the coats - it was difficult to lift them and they still smelled funny.
