oh my god it's so sunshiney out. i can feel my seasonal depression lifting. yesterday it snowed in big heavy clots of snow, inches and inches of it making an amazing magic wonderland. this morning i ran out to buy eggs at the bodega in a dress and coat and it felt not cold. i took a waltz around the block just to get out of the apartment and there were people spilling out of the subway, dressed in their saturday finest (mid-forehead straight bangs, stylish but not heavy coats, unflat shoes, red lipstick, peroxide hair) to walk the streets of bushwick. what they do here is beyond me, because i always feel like there's never anywhere to go.
