Rothy was listening to the footage that she recorded of us walking around town last week and she said that we sound very-LA. I understand that that's not necessarily a flattering description but it made me happy because I realized that, although I am slowly making peace with my environs, I am thoroughly uninterested in ever sounding very-New-York.
