bagel surprised me with a bicycle and i think i'm going to name her nina. we broke her in on the fourth of july by bicycling her down from the hollywood hills past west hollywood through beverly hills down to the mid-city for a barbecue, fourteen miles round-trip. sometimes the hills were too steep and i had to jump off and walk. we were attacked on the way home on the stretch of the walk of fame by a crazy homeless man who ran into the street in front of the bicycles.
